IonicRealty: New Ionic 2 Sample Application

A couple of months ago, I shared a first Ionic 2 sample app built with Ionic 2 alpha. Ionic 2 is now in beta and things have changed a bit. To stay up to date with the latest changes, I built IonicRealty, a new sample app built with Ionic 2 beta.

Watch the video:

In addition to the usual suspects (Lists, Cards, etc), the app features some of the other cool UI components and patterns that come out-of-the box in Ionic: Action Sheets, Item Sliding (slide to delete in the favorites list), Alerts, etc.

Hosted Version

Source Code and Installation Instructions

The source code for the application is available in this repository on GitHub.

It would be really nice to extend this sample app with a map view. So on the start page you can toggle between seeing the houses in a list (as today) or on the map. When you view an individual property you can select to show it on the map as well.

I’ve just opened a pull request on the github repo which updates this to work with Ionic 2 beta 3.

Did you ever figure out how to fix it?

I’m presuming the same will happen when I try it. I have the latest Ionic 2 install

  • Adarsh

Nice but the hosted version seems to take a long time to load With the main culprit being the app.bundle.js. Any pointers as to how to reduce the loadtime?
