Hi,

thank you for this tutorial, but there is something that I don’t understand. When is the method initialize called, in your DynamicJDBCAssembler ? Because I modified the code to reply to my business requirement, but this method is never call and so my attribute table is never set.

I keep getting error #1009. Outside of Flex I can connect to the mysql database w/ the mysql-connector. What do we do w/ the two files “DestinationService” and “DynamicJDBCAssembler”? Are they supposed to go anywhere?

Thanks for the great helps. Like Spunky (October 4th, 2008 at 2:59 pm) I am trying to use SQLServer rather than MySql. Can you show the driver and url statements for the flex-dynamic-data.properties file?

How might this example work with a table from SQL Server? I’m a ColdFusion junkie which automates just about everything in Flex for me, but I’m trying to learn not to rely on CF just to have that knowledge.
